Redwood, a therapeutic children’s home, in Surrey, for up to five children

Children can be of any age as part of a sibling group or aged up to 12 years on an individual placement.

Through our commitment to sibling groups, therapeutic practices and a nurturing environment, we aim to break the cycle of intergenerational care and provide children with the tools they need to lead healthy, confident and successful lives.

Redwood has been a fostering house for many years caring for multiple large sibling groups.  We strive to create a space that feels like a true home, where each child can find comfort, security and a sense of belonging. The environment we provide is specifically tailored to meet the needs of the children, with a strong emphasis on promoting their emotional, physical and educational well-being.

Our team in Redwood is dedicated to providing a holistic and comprehensive approach to care. We prioritise education, recreation and therapeutic interventions that support the children's overall well-being.

Amblewood, a therapeutic children's home, in Surrey, for four children

We know how hard it is to place children together as a sibling group.

Our home offers a therapeutic and caring environment for four children of any age as part of a sibling group.

Our home specialises in providing short-term placements designed to support and heal children who have experienced trauma, helping them build attachments and relationships.

With a compassionate, trauma-informed approach, we work closely with each child or sibling group to understand their unique needs, enabling them to step down to a foster home, kinship care or other appropriate setting. Our team is highly skilled and dedicated to supporting siblings and individual children with a range of behaviours and needs, creating a safe and nurturing environment where they can begin their journey toward healing and positive growth.

Wooden Hill, a specialist therapeutic home for sibling groups

At Wooden Hill, we understand the challenges of keeping siblings together in care. Too often, brothers and sisters are separated due to a lack of appropriate placements, compounding the trauma they have already experienced. Our home in Bracknell Forest is designed specifically to provide a nurturing, stable and therapeutic environment for up to five children, ensuring that sibling bonds remain intact while they receive the specialist care they need.

Our main house provides a safe and homely setting for up to four children, offering structure, warmth and therapeutic support. Our self-contained annexe allows for a fifth child who may need additional care or a short-term placement before stepping down to foster care, kinship care, our main house or another suitable setting.

With a highly skilled, trauma-informed team, we provide therapeutic interventions that promote healing, attachment and resilience. By working closely with each child, their social workers and their wider support networks, we help them develop the confidence and security to move forward successfully.

At Wooden Hill, we are committed to keeping families together, providing a loving and supportive environment where children can heal, grow and begin to thrive.
